The Victory Condominium is a mid-rise infill project nestled in the heart of Toronto’s bustling King West neighborhood. Featuring street-level restaurants, the frontage along King Street rises to a height of seven stories to match the height of the adjacent building to the east while the use of dark masonry and natural stone respond to the heritage warehouse character of the area. Above the seventh floor, the building terraces back is clad in glass to reduce the impact on King Street and provide generous outdoor terraces for the upper residential units. To the north, the building overlooks a tranquil landscaped courtyard shared by neighboring residential buildings. The plan is carved out in the northeast corner to provide the maximum amount of separation between adjacent buildings in order to maximize daylight and views. The underground parking garage is accessed by an existing ramp on the neighboring property.
