An infusion of retail uses and residential density that will bring a new level of sophistication to the Yonge and St. Clair area is achieved with this project. The tower avoids an all-glass expression in favour of punched windows surrounded by stone frames. Balconies are inset to provide greater privacy; these spaces are square-shaped in order to accommodate improved furniture arrangements. The upper portions of the tower are setback, forming an elegant back-lit crown at the top of the building. At the base, large glass panels separated by stone piers provide inviting display space for the retail uses. All services and drop-off areas are located behind the building, accessible from an existing public laneway. The project is tightly woven into the adjacent TTC lands with direct access from the underground into the St. Clair subway station.
